Qigong Q&A 09.03.2026

In this Q&A session, Robert answered thoughtful questions about healing techniques, strengthening the body’s Qi, and adapting Qigong practice with greater sensitivity and awareness.

🔹 Using Qigong to Strengthen the Body’s Defenses – Robert explained that WoGu is best used when we sense an immediate energetic threat rather than continuously. For frequent exposure to challenging environments, he emphasized consistent Qigong practice to strengthen and brighten our internal Qi, helping the body become more resilient.

🔹 Qigong Practices for Better Sleep – For those who struggle with staying asleep, Robert recommended Lotus Meditation or Ocean Whispers. He shared that even playing these practices softly in the background can create a peaceful Qi field, calm the mind, and support deeper, more restorative rest.

🔹 Understanding Sensations During Sword Finger Practice – Robert addressed burning, tingling, pressure, and heaviness that can arise during practice. Rather than assuming these sensations come from Qi itself, he encouraged practitioners to examine body mechanics, release unnecessary tension, relax their posture, and avoid becoming overly rigid or forceful in their practice.

🔹 Supporting Someone at the End of Life – Robert shared that a person’s sensitivity and responses can change considerably as they approach the end of life. He emphasized a gentle approach—observing carefully, respecting the person’s wishes and spiritual traditions, and remembering that at this stage, “less is more.” The focus shifts from strengthening or correcting to offering peace, compassion, and reassurance.
