Qigong Q&A 09.25.2025

In this session, Robert addressed a range of practical and personal questions about Qigong practice, offering clear guidance on energy management, technique, and adaptation:

🔹 Stirring Up Qi Before Practice – Alternatives to shaking, including meditation, music, dance, drumming, and sound practices, were explored as ways to awaken energy flow before Qigong.

🔹 Managing Intense Energy in Qi Ball & Pearl Practice – Guidance was given for handling strong sensations in the palms, head, and body during Module 5: Hologram Palm Empowerment, including how to reduce excess energy, work safely with the pearl, and adapt when the mind is overactive or when past health conditions may play a role.

🔹 Energy Protection for Practitioners – Strategies and courses were recommended for those who feel drained when working with others, with emphasis on building energetic boundaries and protection.

🔹 Tongue Placement During Warm-Up – Clarification on whether it’s necessary to keep the tongue on the upper palate or if sounds and open-mouth practices can also support full-body Qi activation.

🔹 Scanning Golden Light vs. Qi Pearl – Explanation of how scanning golden light differs from working with the hologram pearl, and how to move and integrate the pearl effectively during practice.

🔹 Reverse Abdominal Breathing in Yi Jin Jing – Insights into the specific purpose and benefits of reverse abdominal breathing and how it enhances the form’s transformative effects.

This Q&A offered students direct solutions and deeper understanding, helping them refine their practice while staying aligned with Qigong principles.
