The first day, Saturday, is the longest teaching day, lasting about 80 minutes. During the introductory session, I'll explain the core principles of Yi Jin Jing and the structure of the practice. I will also teach some breathing techniques essential for YJJ practice. We will also learn and practice an esoteric breathing technique called: XI BREATHING. Look at the Course Outline at the middle of this page. Every new week starts, a new teaching session that introduces new material around a theme will be released. Each teaching session ranges from 30-60 minutes. The rest of the week are review and practice days that require about 30 minutes of your time once a day. If you want, of course, you can repeat the practice twice a day.
-
Some aspects of the practice require generating isometric tension. Throughout the course, I introduce modifications to those parts to enable practitioners with injuries to adapt the practice to their limitations.
-
No lifestyle or dietary changes are required, although improving habits is always encouraged.
