Qigong Q&A 01.22.2026
In our latest session, we delved into a rich collection of practitioner questions, offering clarity on technical execution, energetic theory, and the path to healing:
Refining Yi Jin Jing Technique – Detailed guidance was provided on abdominal engagement during Fire Breathing, specifically how to coordinate the "belly to spine" movement across the 12 movements—including Separating Heaven and Earth and Pulling the Bull’s Tail—to ensure powerful, consistent practice.
Addressing Inflammation & Low Vitality – We explored the Qigong perspective on inflammatory conditions like skin and gum issues, discussing whether they stem from structural imbalances or Qi insufficiency. Insights were shared on prioritizing the Kidney system for dental health and how those with very low energy can safely and effectively begin their Qigong journey.
Sequence & Flow in Meridian Empowerment – Questions regarding the "12 Meridians" practice were addressed, clarifying the most effective way to cycle through chanting, whispering, and mouthing for each organ to maximize the energetic "clock" resonance.
The Subtle Body & "The Light Between the Breaths" – We explored the deeper spiritual dimensions of practice, including the profound meaning of finding "the light" in the stillness of the breath and how to manage active eye movement when following the "pearls" during visualization.
Lineage & Philosophical Frameworks – The session touched on the unique structure of The Way of Virtue, explaining the specific logic behind the order in which we greet the organs compared to other traditional systems, and how this supports a holistic "tune-up" of the body’s internal landscape.
