Qigong Q&A 08.21.2025
In today’s session, we explored deep and inspiring questions from our community:
🔹 Yi and Intention: Clarified how the Spleen carries the quality of “Yi,” shaping intention and guiding focus in both practice and daily life.
🔹 Creating Qi Balls: Shared perspectives on different methods—from hand sensation and visualization to the 8-pointed star—and affirmed the value of working with white light or calling upon spiritual beings, while also offering other creative ways to cultivate Qi.
🔹 Accessible Practice: Addressed how those with mobility challenges can adapt meditation postures, confirming that a crossed-leg position is not required to connect deeply with energy.
🔹 Meridian Continuity: Explained how energy flows between meridians, such as from the Stomach to the Spleen, and described its movement with Earth and Cosmic resonance, as well as how it is “called out” and “called back.”
🔹 Body Alignment: Discussed whether specific positions of head, spine, and limbs influence the free flow of Qi when working with hands-on points or sound practices.
🔹 Tone and Pitch: Explored how pitch variation affects points and organ families, including how tones may shift when focusing on lower or deeper areas of the body.
This session opened pathways to profound understanding while honoring both the practical and poetic dimensions of Qigong. Stay tuned for more insights!
