    Master Key Q&A 08.20.2026

In this Master Key Q&A, Robert answered practical questions about the Sword Finger, Nourishing Qi, staying consistent with practice, and how to move through the course when life gets busy.

πŸ”Ή How to Use and Seal with the Sword Finger – Robert explained how the Sword Finger can be used to visualize an area as a β€œchunk,” gradually cutting it into smaller pieces until it disperses. To complete the practice, students can use the Yin-Yang seal, stamping the area nine times to seal and preserve the energy.

πŸ”Ή What Happens When the Mind Wanders During Practice? – For students experiencing β€œmonkey mind” during Nourishing Qi, Robert reassured them that distraction does not mean the Qi disappears or the practice is lost. The mind naturally moves back and forth; simply notice the distraction, gently return to the practice, and avoid criticizing yourself.

πŸ”Ή What If You Fall Behind in the Weekly Modules? – Robert encouraged students to make up Module 1, as it provides an important foundation for understanding the practices that follow. However, rather than continually falling further behind trying to catch up, students can continue moving forward with the cohort and revisit earlier lessons later with their ongoing course access.

πŸ”Ή Using Sword Finger for Targeted Areas – Robert discussed using the Sword Finger when working with a specific, localized area. The practice involves directing attention toward the area, visualizing what you are working with, then dividing, vaporizing, and sealing. For concerns that are more widespread and difficult to localize, he emphasized Nourishing Qi as a broader practice for strengthening and harmonizing the body's Qi.

Together, these discussions emphasized an important theme of the Master Key journey: stay consistent, trust the process, and allow Qigong to gradually become part of your daily life. Rather than worrying about practicing perfectly, continue building your connection with Qi through steady and regular practice.

    Master Key Q&A 7.28.2026

In this Master Key Q&A, Robert answered common questions about the structure of the Master Key course, how it compares to other programs, and how students can make the most of their learning journey.

πŸ”Ή Master Key vs. The Way of Virtue – Robert explained that Master Key Qigong is the foundational course, focusing on building a strong energetic foundation by cultivating the Four Golden Wheels, Three Dantians, and Central Meridian. In contrast, The Way of Virtue expands into deeper work with the organs, Five Elements, meridians, and spiritual cultivation through a yearlong progression.

πŸ”Ή Combining Master Key with Professional Healer Training – For students currently enrolled in the Professional Healer Training, Robert recommended focusing on the healer program first, as it already contains a substantial amount of practice. He suggested reading the Master Key book in the meantime and joining the Master Key course later when they can fully devote themselves to it.

πŸ”Ή Flexible Learning & Weekly Course Structure – Robert reassured students that all teaching sessions are pre-recorded, allowing them to practice whenever it fits their schedule. New modules are released weekly to encourage steady progress, while live Q&A sessions are recorded so students who cannot attend can watch the replays and also submit questions by email.

πŸ”Ή The New 17-Week Format – Addressing returning students, Robert explained that the content remains the same as the original intensive 10-day Master Key course, but the new 17-week format provides more time to absorb, integrate, and practice each lesson. The slower pace helps students experience the benefits more deeply without feeling overwhelmed, while maintaining lifetime access to the course materials.

Together, these discussions highlighted the purpose of the Master Key as the foundation of Robert's Qigong teachings, the flexibility of its learning format, and how its gradual progression supports long-term cultivation and lasting transformation.
